Well hello hello beautiful people of Cursed Desires!

You can call me Crisp, and I'm awfully new to this site. But not new to roleplaying cats and such. So, yeah introductions. I'm sixteen (going on seventeen in less than a month), a rising senior in high school, and I'm a city girl. I have a cat of my own, who I call 'kid', but his name is actually Minnie. There was gender confusion when I was little, I thought all cats were girls. Also, I have two obnoxious dogs, both Cocker Spaniels. The oldest is a male named Buddy, who I call 'Bud', and the youngest is a female named Bella, who I call 'Isa'. For Isabelle, get it? xD Alright, I live in the growing city of Charlotte, North Carolina, but I'll always be a Florida girl. Anyway, I'm really friendly, but I'm also a little timid when I'm on a new site. It doesn't take me long to get comfortable though, and you'll find me to be quite talkative once I do get comfortable. Anyway, one thing you should absolutely know about me is that I looove music! I'm a fan of all kinds of music, so I don't have a specific genre that is my favorite, but it's my life. :3

Haha, sounds like you live in the place my mom always dreams of living. Those Southerner states only reach her in her dreams. She hates the cold, northern state of Minnesota where she has lived her whole life. xD

I use to think all cats were females as well when I was younger...at times, I still do. They all just seem really... feminine. It's hard to believe at times there are male cats out there. o.o

Music is nice, but I tend only to like country music. Actually, I use to hate music, just because I never really got into it until my brother started to download random country songs for me and now all I listen to is country. While on the computer, I turn on my i-Tunes to the radio station and take out my usually country radio station. <3 It give me plenty to RP to. I don't mind rock either though, at times.

I'm also usually shy on new sites, so I know how you feel. I hope you feel at home here. <3

I just graduated High School this year (on Sunday in fact) and I've been to Charlotte, North Carolina once in my life time when our plan got delayed and we got moved to one going there instead of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina....it was at like 2 in the morning though. ;

Syrinx; Oh buddy, I can't stand the cold xD I was born and raised in Florida until we moved up here, so that's probably why, but if you want hot weather it's pretty much heat central over here now. I love it. In the fall and winter though, I'm not a fan of the cold. My friends think I'm crazy because I love hot weather, but hey, it's better than being freezing! So I understand your mother xD

Yup, my little old man is quite the prissy stuck up cat, so it's easy to mistake him for a girl. Except for his angry looking tooth that sticks out of his mouth, that's pretty much his only masculine trait.

Ever since I moved up here I've taken more of an interest in country music, well, more of an interest than I've had. They play it more up here I guess, which is nice since I find it fun :3

And everyone is pretty nice here so I'm certain I'll be happy here, and I won't hesitate to send a question your way if I have any xD

I can't not like classical music xD I play in the band at my school so I have to like it, or I won't enjoy band. It's kind of hand in hand. Unless your referring to something else...ahaha. As for metal, all I can say is Nightwish...is a pretty awesome metal band. Yup yup. My German friend introduce me to them. :3

Haha I've only had one male cat, and a few adopted stray (mostly male) kittens that my g-ma found in her backyard xD So you could say I've only had one male cat. He happens to be on my bed sleeping as I type. Love him <3

I'm probably the only person I know who's never been to Myrtle Beach, even my parents have been xD One day, I will go. Well, congrats on graduating! I'm a bit nervous for my senior year, and yet excited at the same time, it's going to be...different.

I go by Desiree on this site, at least. xD Like you, I'm a southern gal and rising senior.

I have a parakeet name Tiki; my dog Shadow passed away this past year. I've never had a cat but always wanted one. And I'll have to agree with Syrinx, most cats look really feminine, so I can understand the gender confusion.

I'm not quite as crazy as poor ol' Quail, since I tend to be shy at first too, but I've warmed up to the place and gotten a lot more talktative. I'm sure you'll take to it like a pig to mud, like a cow to cud, and now I'm singing Hillbilly Bone in my head. I like most music; I tend to stray towards Country and Pop songs, though I also have some favorite songs that are Rap, Rock, and yes, Oldies. xD

Haha, want to her a sad interesting fact? I've been to Canada and living in Minnesota, that's pretty bad. xD Both my brothers and parents have been there, but not me (we decided that they went as a family when I was too young for the trip). (Your last point made me think of that xD)

Anywho, I like the warmth, to a degree. I can't stand anything higher than eighty alone and without a pool and AC at my disposal I can't stand anything above ninety-five. If it's above eight-five and HUMID with or without a pool I can't stand it. Humid weather is just the worse. However to my mother, anything under 100 is too old. >.<

I like way how country music actually sounds like the song is sang to you and the lyrics aren't covered by a heavy bass line or massive drum lines. People say country's depressing. Pshhhhhaaaa, not in the least...okay, some of it is, but all genres have their down sides, right? With country at least you can feel it. P.S. Have you heard this song? Click. I can't get enough of it. <3

And that's good. I like people feeling at home on sites. It makes me feel better as an admin. ~_^

And Quail, you have to admit therer is a female glow to cats. I'm gettiung a bit better about it after RPing them for so long, but there is always this female aura that comes from them at times. ~_^

I suppose so. All three of the male cats I've had are like "manly man" cats though. They hate males, love the girls in the family, and are fat. Well, Gunther (Goon) is my newest cat...Mittens passed away one New Years eve. He is insane. ;

Ah, a parakeet? My old neighbor used to have two, and I thought they were the cutest little things. They seem like cool pets to have, and I love looking at them in pet shops :3 Ah, and I'm sorry to hear about your dog. It's never a pleasant thing.

Syrinx; Never been to Canada? D= I love Canada, and I have a lot of family up there, but it's honestly one of the most prettiest and peaceful places I've ever been to.

Haha for me, anything below around 80 is too cold, and 80 up is comfortable xD Yeah, I see what your saying about country music! It sounds personal, and it's just pretty to hear a good voice singing without the distracting noise, and you can just focus on the voice. Yup, I've heard that song! It's a really pretty song, and the meaning makes me laugh xD Plus Jaron is a good looking fellow. Haha I remember him and his brother, Evan and Jaron. They were good back in the day.

Well, your doing a great job as an admin! Yes'm I'm in the band, one of those people xD I play clarinet, and bassoon on the side. How can your mother hate cats! They are so fluffy and cute!

Haha Kid isn't a manly man at all, if you just touch him he needs to wash himself all over again. He's also very sensitive xD. He isn't a fan of other cats, so we couldn't get another one :[. I'm my cat's favorite though, because everyone else seems to care about the dogs more than the old man. I love my boy though <3

It's funny 'cause even though I've never been to Canada, I will be going to three different countries this coming year and still never have gone to the country closest to where I live. xD

Agreed, Crisp. I prefer the words anyway with a simple beat. I don't mind a lot of rock, but when they cover up the words...eh.

And Desiree, I don't know how you can like any rap songs. -shivers at the thought of the genre- It's one of the few genres I cannot stand. xD

Spyrinx, no need to feel young - I'm the age of a rising junior. ^^ I skipped 4th grade, 'cuz I'm cool like that. Haha And yes, I love that song. I noticed it was on Valentine's posting template. xD I've been to 2 Rascal Flatts concerts, one of Keith Urban, and even one of Taylor Swift.

Rap? It's usually only played if I want to go running for a bit because I like not trying to sing along and just having the obnoxious beat to keep my feet moving. That, and one of my friends found a few artists that are more pop-like, so I tend to like those.

Oh, and I cannot stand all of the heat. I walk five miles every day and play tennis. This heat is miserable. =/ And the humidity? Awful. Absolutely horrid.

And yes, a parakeet. Actually, he's pretty much a noise maker. He doesn't like me too much, so he tries to bite me sometimes. He likes my dad though.
