Name • • Trivial

Patron God • • Aromian
Shift Rarity • • Uncommon
Shift Form • • Heron
OOC Name • • Nekii
Appearance • • Trivial is an older tom, but definitely not too old. Not yet, anyway. It just so happens that in physical strength, he may be at the highest point in his life. But only the gods know. With normal paw size, he isn't necessarily the biggest tom you know in the tribe. Very average, and his shift and rank reflects this. He doesn't seem to think his pelt's fur is that long, although you may find others beg to differ. It is indeed very long, though.
With dull amber eyes and a devious smile, you might realize that he isn't the normal tribe cat. He isn't to scrawny, at least, not exactly the muscle man either. A decently made tom, to sum it up. The same could be said on the subject of weight, although he will make sure he gets his share. It's his right, after all. Even so, he acts as if he was a flirt and sometimes makes an effort to give something to the Nannies and Queens. Still, when it comes right down to it, the subject of mates is not one he has to much interest in. He feels little attraction to others, and is one to sometimes easily betray. Tall, long ears and whiskers make him a perfect spy, after all.
His big bushy tail is another trait his relatives seem to share. He seems to think it lets him be dramatic, and that's the reason all cats live. Dramatic days and battle scars, no? If not, it sure is his perception of life. He doesn't know that much about it though, only the affairs of cats and the legends of gods. With a sleek, brown tabby coat, it surely has it's lights and darks. But this pelt, long whiskers, and wheat nose does not compare him to the gods, although he may look as if he thinks it does.
Personality • •
Trivial is a particularly odd cat, as you can't classify him as a quiet or loud cat. While you don't usually hear him, he makes sure you hear him when he speaks. This is mostly because, well, he doesn't usually speak to others because he doesn't think they need to listen. Why waste his voice on deaf ears? He is a rather pessimistic cat, rightly so. He has to prepare for the worst to reach a high point, really. Don't be surprised if he abruptly ends a conversation if he realizes that he may not get what he wants out of it. Although he isn't good at hunting or fighting especially, he isn't any wuss when it comes right down to it. His overconfidence in himself will shine through.
He actually does love the smell of blood. Even so, he has a million other odd quirks that you may never learn about. But this one is a more obvious one, always around when a cat gets injured. "Aromian, bless him," he usually mutters, looking closely at them. He has no idwa why a cat would dislike it, it is a grace of the gods. If it comes from the gods, it is a grace. He lacks knowledge of a curse of gods, as he lacks a meaning of morality. He puts everything he thinks bluntly, never afraid of getting his feelings hurt of his ideas struck down. If they are struck down, he follows through anyway. He is ambitious in his ideas, at least.
But he is very easy-going, on the surface, anyway. While he does know that most need a witty friend, he does not know that others need a emotionally supporting friend. This is mostly because he lacks much emotion. He understands intelligent thoughts and jokes, yet he fails to see the emotion through. He is fine with taking orders, but then again, would much rather be giving orders and does not see any harm in bluntly stating his mind when something does not seem right. Trivial sees emotional decisions as just that. Trivial. At least he is an intelligent cat, or else he would be just a zombie of a cat and a nuisance. Strategical and life-less, it makes up who he is.
Don't touch him though, he doesn't tolerate that. History • •
There was nothing strange on the single brown tabby's birth date. It was a miracle that he was born without visible defect, being the only kit in his lineage. It was also miracle that the mother of him was able to give birth. It was rumored that she was just infertile, and she was threatened to be kicked out of the tribe if she was not able to bear kits. When a tom was found that wanted to have offspring, it was found that she was indeed a fertile she-cat, and it was an relief.
The little kit grew up well in is first few hours, so the matter of name arose. A family friend, one who wasn't to fond of him, joked around. He said that Trivial could be his name, as the kit was just so. But the father, with his goofy outlook, thought the name was perfect. Trivial, because he was just the opposite. Right after the naming session, the two males left and he was left just to be a kit. He was lovable and devious, So when the matter of his training came up, his father was most proud to be the one taking up his duty. Although, his brother pointed out, it would be his job anyway.
But right before the day came by, his father had been killed by the claws of a loner. Nobody in the tribe quite understood why, but they were furious enough. They searched everywhere, but they just never found them. So, the brother of the lost father, Adom, decided that he would do it in his place. Adom constantly said that he would make him a cat worthy of the gods. Nobody thought he was actually attempting this, but he was. He figured that if Trivial's father was a rare shifter, that he would in turn be a furious rare shifter as well. If he was taking this long to do his first shift, then it must be something the god's wanted to surprise him.
He was pushed and pushed until one day, he finally did shift. However, it was not what Adom had wanted. He was teaching Trivial how to fish when, out of nowhere, his shift was the one beside him. But instead, it was a Heron. "An...uncommon," he said slowly. He was enraged on how much time he had wasted and attacked him, until someone had found them both and punishment was handed down as needed. Trivial was already finished learning the skills for his place a month later, and was made a full out hunter and fighter. But now he wasn't really all there. He had finally decided just to close off his heart, and nobody was welcome. How long will it stay glued together, though?
