After the unjust suffering of local cats by the hands of a corporation, the residents of a country town by the name of Stillwater try to cover up media attention by means of ridding themselves of any evidence connecting them to the event. Test subjects are rounded up by the pound and put to sleep, so affectionately called. Those that escape their fate face the harsh judges of their peers, the streets and themselves.
Some are not so willing to forget the pain they felt, and hushed whispers spread like wildfire around town among the feline community about a violent gang that seem bent on getting revenge. Read the full plot here.
